If You Did MMM You Can and Should also Do MLM
If you did MMM you can and should also do MLM
E no too hard lai-dat. Lol
I remember the year MMM was the real deal for some people
Mai-God !
I heard some people went as far as selling landed properties, using children's school fees, people's contribution (ajo)
Some even took quick loans at work,
I heard of a friend's friend who had invested over a million and got back about two million (I'm not certain) and instead of taking his "profit" and investing only the initial capital (abi quit)
He put back the entire money into the system in order to get back another free quick money.
Greed !
Anyway, long story short, he met his doom.
It was the same week the system crashed and he was back to penury.
Suffice to say, half of the money he initially invested was borrowed.
What is MMM ?
MMM is supposedly a peer to peer funding system which involves people “helping” people.
From information gathered, I understand you get back 30% of your initial investment monthly
How does this happen?
In simple terms, "they rob Peter to pay Paul"
Very simple, because no product is sold and no service is rendered, just supposedly "helping" people. How ?
No one ever cared to find out.
What is MLM?
Multi-Level Marketing (MLM), also called Network Marketing is a marketing strategy for the sales of products or services
Where the revenue of the MLM company is derived from a non-salaried workforce selling the company's products/services
While the earnings of the participants are derived from a pyramid-shaped or binary compensation commission system.
One clear thing is, the generation of revenue is from the sales of company's products or services and participants are paid through the same means.
You know, this same set of people who fell for MMM that year will vow never to go into ponzi schemes
And they'll be the first to also criticise Multi-Level Marketing as the same thing.
Just wow
Severally, I've always said it's not so difficult to spot these ponzi schemes
The problem is, people would rather give MMM a trial (mostly because of free money) than understanding the real business of MLM
The idea of quick free money won't allow most people settle for MLM
Sad !
Instead of going all out to do the wrong thing and losing your respect in the process (obviously, because people would stop believing whatever business you come up with later)
Why not dedicate your time and efforts to building solid relationships and teams as a professional Multi-Level Marketer.
The output is massive as well as "too-sure"
Although MLM has "almost" the same structure of payment as MMM, there are still key differences you can look out for.
There is the presence of physical tangible products which is bought and sold by the MLM company involved
You can sell or make use of these products to get back your initial capital investment (including profit, depending on the company you are with)
There's a physical office address of the company somewhere
And be sure to confirm it really does exist as well before venturing into it
Team building, leadership and growth is the core of MLM
Study most MLM leaders and you'll notice they've successfully built their MLM business around these.
While most MMM practitioners honestly do not care about one or any of these, all they are interested in, is how to "cash out"
And it is mostly at the expense of others
It's ok if you have decided MMM is what you're going to do but please, don't equate it to MLM as well
The right thing to do would be to embrace MLM just as you did MMM
Put in the work like you did previously and trust me, your return is as sure as the rising sun.
